About Houston Jet Charter

Houston Jet Charter arranges private flights to and from Houston and the surrounding areas of Texas. We are private aviation advisors and a charter broker, which means we do not own or operate aircraft. We find the right aircraft for your trip, put it with an operator we are willing to stand behind, and stay with the booking until you land.

What We Actually Do

Someone calls with a route, a date, and a headcount. We work out which aircraft categories can fly it, check which operators have something suitable in position, run our due diligence on those operators, and come back with a shortlist and the trade-offs between the options. If a smaller aircraft or a different airport would serve the trip better than what was asked for, we say so at that point rather than after the invoice.

You get one advisor for the trip. The same person who quotes you is the person who calls if the weather turns.

Why Houston Is Its Own Market

Houston is a year-round charter market driven by energy, the Texas Medical Center, and port activity. The demand is consistent rather than seasonal: same-day Permian Basin runs, domestic executive meetings, and international legs can happen in the same week. Most clients here are focused on getting close to the address, not the size of the aircraft.

It also means the airport choice does real work. Houston has more than a dozen fields worth considering, and the metro is big enough that the wrong one costs you an hour in traffic at each end. We know which airports suit which parts of the city, which ones clear customs, and which have the runway for the aircraft you want. That is usually the first thing we get right on a Houston trip.

Gulf Coast weather is the other local factor. Hurricane season, summer afternoon storms, and winter morning fog all shape how a Houston trip gets planned. We tell you what we are watching, and we tell you early.

How We Choose Operators

Every operator goes through our internal due diligence before we put them in front of you. We confirm the operator holds a current air carrier certificate, review their safety and incident history, confirm the assigned pilots are experienced and current on the specific aircraft type, and reference third-party audit results where the operator participates in ARGUS or Wyvern.

Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them. We have been an NBAA member since 2012.

Our safety page sets out the whole process, including who holds the decision on a weather day.

Where We Are

Our headquarters is in the Philadelphia region, with advisors and affiliates across the country and around the world. We coordinate Houston departures through our operator network, which is what keeps us competitive with a local charter company while giving you access to aircraft that are not based here.

Our services reach well past Texas. Whatever the route, the process is the same one described above.
